I just received an email that gives you money for your old cell phones and equipment. I know people have cell phones they don't use laying around and thought this could help. They will send you package to send phone to them and they are approved by BBB. The website is http://www.simplysellular.com/

Take a look at this one also. http://www.irecyclephones.com You easily print a prepaid shipping label and they plant a tree for each phone received, good, bad, broken, etc.

We have an organization in our community called D.A.N.A (Domestic Abuse is Not Acceptable) who accepts donated unused cell phones for women who are victims so they can use them to call 911 if they need to. Great idea! Also, our school system accepts them for the bus drivers just in case they need to call 911 to report a break down or accident.

Hi, before giving them back to Verizon or Sprint or any of the companies, who knows what they do with them...find an organization in your community. I found one who "re-does" them and gives them to the "at- risk abused" women...so they can call for help.
Or whatever need they may have for them.

i tried this today, but apparently I dont trade my phones is often enough. My old phone wasnt even listed and my current phone is only worth 15 bucks! :) I love my current phone so I will be keeping it. If someone else's phone like mine isnt on the list, I believe you can just drop it in a recyle box in a Verizon or Sprint store.
