If Your Watch Becomes Magnetized

This is a tip to get your watch working again when the second hand is going forward one second and then back one second. If your watch has ever done this, you know just what I mean.

The reason is that your watch has become magnetized. You don't need a new battery. Just go to a big box store like Walmart or K-Mart, and have them run your watch across the de-magnetizer that's built into their register counters. That should do the trick.

Source: I learned this from several watch repair websites that I researched a few years ago.
