Strawberry Ice Cream

Do you have an excess of fresh strawberries? Clean them up and freeze them. When you have time, defrost them and make homemade strawberry ice cream using an ice cream maker. So delicious. Happy eating.

I rinse, and remove caps from berries, and freeze flat in freezer, then bag loosely. I can remove however many I want for a smoothie and because they are frozen they help thicken the smoothie, too.
