I was recently at a flea market and a woman was selling money gifts. The gifts were along the line of the money tree but one was a shirt with a bowtie in a cardboard box made from $5 and $1 bills. The other was flowers (with stems) made from money also. Does anyone have instructions for making these type of monetary gifts? I will be attending a wedding shower shortly and would like to give something similiar as a gift.
I tried it and the first one didn't look exactly like the photo, but I plan to work on it some more. Good luck!

Go to: http://members.cox.net/crandall11/money/ They have illustrated instructions on money folding. It's FUN! My daughter & I were in Hawaii last summer & bought a book on how to fold money into Hawaiian theme shapes. It's an attention graber for kids--especially if you let them keep them!$$$$$
