I have seen a project of a snake... just take the CD's and glue over one another in an wavy pattern... decorate the top one with red felt in the shape of a tonge and googly eyes

Here's a link to a fish

"Glue three together. Let child glue on buttons, ribbons and colorful pipe cleaners for arms. A black construction paper hat could be glued."

I don't have any ideas for animals, but you can go to google and look up on the images for altered cd's and there will be a lot. I am making ornaments out of them.

Good luck
