Cashew Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 3/4-2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup cashews

Directions

Grease a 9 inch square pan. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add brown sugar. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the milk and continue cooking, stirring until the mixture boils. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Gradually add confectioners' sugar until mixture is fudge consistency. Add nuts. Spread in prepared pan and cool.
