Actually the number one way to remove skunk odor on dogs or other smells is to by a few boxes of female douche it has vinegar mix and people here always say they buy several generic boxes of the stuff to use on the dogs and it seems to work for all...good luck.. i thought the advice was odd but all say it works i have a couple of boxes for 'just in case' as i have 2 dogs...
This works for skunks. Maybe it would work for this as well. Take 1 quart of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide (available from any drugstore), 1/4 cup of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate for you science types) and 1 teaspoon of liquid soap, such as Ivory. Mix and immediately apply to the stinky pet. Rinse thoroughly with tap water.
