I had a frugal wedding too, back in the day when frills and limos were the norm. It's kinda nice to see couples are coming back to that. I always said I was just as married at the end of the day as someone who went all out, and that's really what it's about anyhow. Many people still say they enjoyed our 'down home' out door affair more than other weddings since. My question: did you glue/sew those flowers to the hem of the flower girl's dress to match the wedding colours? Who else CARES if the dress you're packing away with dirt on the tail and punch stains cost $5,000? In one Day all that money is gone down the drain.I'm glad to know there are still Mothers and Daughters out there that don't lose their heads when planning a wedding. A GREAT JOB!
