We do a lot of painted gourds. We sell quite a few. We grew these gourds and then cleaned and painted them.

I agree with the other comments - these are exceptionally nice! There is definitely a talented artist at work here. The compositions are great - does somebody have art training or just a natural gift?

WOW! Fabulous- these are just amazing, I have never seen anything like them. Please tell me how you go about preparing them before you paint them- I would love to try this myself and maybe other readers would too. You are truly talented, keep up the good work.

These are gorgeous! I especially love the birdhouse! It makes me want to plant some gourds this year! Thanks, Sharon

You do a lovely job. I know that is hard cleaning them. I did it one year and made bird houses. Mine weren't near as pretty as yours.
