Spiced Peaches

An easy and cheaper way.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 29 (ish) oz. cans of peach halves
  • 2-3 Tbsp. whole cloves

Directions

I used to pay $3 or more for a can of whole peaches that held MAYBE 5. For holidays, it would take 4-5 cans because everybody liked them so much. I started getting the plain peach halves the putting them in a lidded container (with the juice) and about 2 tablespoons of WHOLE cloves and let them marry in the fridge for a couple of days. Then the peaches taste just like the spiced peaches and they are much easier to eat and cheaper.

You have to buy a can of whole cloves, but it should make 10-12 batches of peaches for large groups and many more for family size servings.
