- 3-4 lb. beef brisket
- 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Cover both sides of brisket with liquid smoke, garlic and onion salt, celery seed and Worcestershire sauce. Place in baking pan and marinate in refrigerator overnight. Add salt and pepper, cover with foil and bake 5 hours in 300 degree F oven. Add barbecue sauce and leave uncovered for last hour. Baste occasionally.
