We discovered a product called "OOPS Multi-Purpose Remover" in the hardware department of our local WalMart store, which has successfully removed most stains we have come across, even bubble-gum on clothing. It costs about $3.50 for a 473ml can (1 pt.) and I really think it is worth a try. I suggest testing for colors as usual before using.
