I am 15 and my room has light blue walls with no border on it, but I am now a fan of pink but I don't just want my walls to be pink and boring I want some enlightment in it. But instead of pink I was also thinking about putting my walls as clouds and the border as moons, suns and stars.

I hate my walls being plans so I put posters of famous people and pictures of my friends on my walls. Also on my wall I have an erase board.

I have a single bed and I get tired of the same boring sheets. My blinds are just purple. PLEASE HELP ME! I want my room to be more exciting and I want my friends to come in my room and say "WOW your room is cute!" I go to my friends houses and their rooms are so cute and colorful and decorated with lots of cute things. Please help me make my boring room into a exciting and fun one! I NEED HELP! - Kelly

what we did for our daughters- painted the walls a pretty blue color (angel eyes) all the way up except for one foot from the ceiling- we painted that a light silver then we bout a pretty silver glaze to go over the light silver. between the two colors we painted white clouds (because we could not find a border we liked) then at the top where the silver was we stenciled yellow stars different sizes and moons- this is very beautiful. we have yellow curtains and a beautiful blue comforter set and I made yellow star pillows out of the same fabric of the curtains. bought a night light at target w/moons and stars for a couple of bucks. GREAT turnout can last for years

Well what i did for my room was just put pics of everything i like and since i love stas and moons my curtins are like that then you know how for a shower curtin you need those things to hold them up well i used those and hung them on the bar it looks awsome.if i discribed my room to you you might think that it's ugly but it's really cool.well thats my idea.also i only put colors that i like in my room and thats what you should do to.

Sponging sounds like an awesome idea for clouds. Walmart has the sponging material at a reasonable price and I"ve never tried it but it seems pretty easy. They also have stencil so that you could do the border yourself-that way its more free and not so uniform like a border would be. Maybe you could somehow incorporate pics of you and your friends in the clouds or make your clouds into different things- you know- how you look in the sky and say "that cloud looks like such and such" or you could get a poster board and decopage a collage of your friends pics and famous celebs or singers or whatever your into and make your own creative matting or frame. YOu could also go to a craft store or walmart and get inexpensive remnants of fabric and-if you have a sewing machine or know someone that does- you could also incorporate pics into curtains or make your own- with your favorite color or choose a pattern or color of fabric and make your own. Sounds like you have great ideas already- just take those and run with them- its just paint- if you don't like- you can change it later- or just experiment until you find whats perfect for you! Either way- it will be you- not what everybody else has! i just thought of something else- they have those little stars and moons and things that glow in the dark- maybe for the ceiling- that would be cool- turn out the lights and look up at the stars :) HAVE FUN!

WHat I did in my daughters room (and everyone compliments me on it) is Sponge paint the room 2 colors on top. Draw a line across the middle of the room first using a level.. Sponge the top and leave the bottom white. The put a nice border across the line you drew across the middle of the wall. To sponge, I used purple first then light pink over it and found a border with the colors in it. Trust me, it looks awesome. I may be 36, but I am very young at heart!
