Thumper is a 10 month old California King rabbit. We got him in October of 2005 for my daughter's 4-H project show.

He loves to eat, especially carrots. He loves being with my daugher. She has done a really good job taking care of it and he gets so excited to see my daughter, Micaela, he will run circles around her legs.

The running around her legs is a mate thing. He might spray her if he loves her. He can be fixed and won't spray anymore. I got blasted in the face when I had my male bun and fixed he got. White vinegar will take away all urine from a rabbit. clean up any urine with it full strength. It neutralizes it. Also soak the litter box with it and it gets rid of the build up

Nancy, Thumper is precious. I know Micaela loves him as much as he loves her. Thank you for sharing your story!

RABBITS ARE EXCELLENT PETS, NOT TOO HARD TO CLEAN UP AFTER, HOWEVER, THEY DO LIKE TO CHEW ON THE FURNITURE. WE FOUND THAT DEER MUSK, PURCHASED IN SMALL BOTTLES, APPLIED TO TH LOWER OR BOTTOM SIDE OF SAID FURNITURE WILL DISCOURAGE HUNGRY RABBITS FROM SHORTENING THE FURNITURE LEGS
