RE: Using Vegetable Oil Instead of Corn Oil
Yes you can, but don't think that canola oil is healthier. Canola oil is man made. It comes from rapeseed oil which is a poison. Corn oil is good, but Coconut Oil is much more healthier. Yes it is a saturated fat but it doesn't act like a saturated fat in your body. I have been using Coconut Oil for 3 months now, because I had uncontrollable cholesterol levels. Using the coconut oil has helped. My cholesterol has now gone down by 53 points.

RE: Using Vegetable Oil Instead of Corn Oil
Canola oil is a healthier oil than corn oil. There is little or difference in calories. Any brand of canola will do. There is nothing special about corn oil as far as cooking is concerned.

RE: Using Vegetable Oil Instead of Corn Oil
Yes you can interchange Vegetable Oil for Corn Oil, but the best oil to use is Crisco Oil or Crisco Canola Oil, the food will not absorb as much of the oil.

RE: Using Vegetable Oil Instead of Corn Oil
The taste, calorie count, etc... may be different but as far a cooking goes they are interchangeable.
