When I was a kid, I just would not eat breakfast, my mother talked to the doctor about this and he told her to give me whatever I wanted as long as I would eat it. Here are some quick, cheap breakfasts we had growing up:
Applesauce Toast: Spread a slice of bread with applesauce. Cut a slice of cheese into four strips, then arrange in a tic-tac-toe board pattern on toast. Broil for a few minutes until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.
Cottage Cheese Toast: Mix cottage cheese with crushed pineapple (drained of course) and spread on toast. Broil until warm.
Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwiches: Spread half of a toasted English muffin with peanut butter, then top with banana slices.
