Wildlife: Ponies (Asseteague Island, MD)
This picture was taken while on a weekend trip to Assateague Island, Maryland. After years of going to Assateague Island National Park hoping to photograph the wild ponies on the beach.
I was so thrilled when I saw this pony "calling" for the others to line up. Once they were in a line, they walked down the beach with this pony taking the lead. It was quite an amazing sight to see!
