Boil potatoes in salted water to cover until tender. Add cream cheese, sour cream, garlic salt and pepper. Blend well. Spread in buttered 9x13 inch baking pan. Refrigerate or freeze. Garnish with chives and paprika. If frozen, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
I think I will try this next time I fix mashed potatoes. I have just started to put sour cream in my potatoes, and he loves them. So I am gonna try this. Hopefully, he will love them, also. Weezy

Ingredients:
6 medium potatoes
4-8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
4 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. salt
onion powder, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
milk, to thin
chives (optional)
Directions:
Cook peeled potatoes until tender. Drain and mash. Add remaining ingredients; beat until light and fluffy. Add milk if too stiff. Can add more sour cream for flavor if you like.
