I wanted to share the following websites and catalogs for the readers who might not be too thrilled with the prices at some of the big box chain pet stores. These three companies carry a good selection of pet products.

Both KV Vet Supply and Jeffers Pet have good prices, while Doctors Foster and Smith are more expensive but have a wide selection.

I recommend the company "Doctors Foster & Smith" for your pet care needs. They charge a fraction of what most pet care stores as well as what veterinarians charge. The web site is http://www.drsfostersmith.com.

Editor's Note: We also use Drs. Foster & Smith for pet supplies. They have help online and have given good, reliable service. Having said that, it's very important to have a reliable vet to take your pet to as well.
