Lip balm can protect your lips from the sun and keep them from getting chapped. If you use lip balm often, you can save money by making your own. This page contains recipes for lip balm.
Here comes the cold weather! Time to keep those lips chap-free and beautiful. I've been using this two-ingredient method ever since I was in college and found an article about it in a beauty magazine.
Mix in a small bowl. Apply to your lips using your fingers, gently rubbing in a circular motion. Rinse off with water.
The brown sugar will come off, leaving some of the olive oil behind, which adds moisture and a lustrous shine to your lips. Not to mention it's pretty yummy for you or your next kiss! :)

Does anyone have a recipe for lip balm? I am going broke buying those little tubes of it for the grandkids who keep losing it.
I used the little containers to hold small craft supplies (Like beads). I use my finger to apply it. I warmed up a gob of Vaseline and added some cocoa powder. I didn't measure it, I just stirred it in until it looked good. It leaves just a light tint on your lips. It doesn't taste like chocolate, but the smell is divine!
