Craft Project: Painted Eyeglass Lens
Here's a great way to recycle old eyeglass lenses.
Approximate Time: Less than 1 hour
Supplies:
- Old eyeglass lenses
- Watercolor paper
- Watercolor paints
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Clear drying glue
- Pin back
- Pencil
Instructions:
- Draw around eyeglass lens onto watercolor paper.
- Draw a desired picture onto the shape and paint with watercolors.
- Allow to dry. Cut out picture, apply a thin bead of glue around edge of lens, and glue picture to back of eyeglass lens.
- Glue on pin back.

This is simply amazing and what a conversation starter! Plus it's pretty as a picture, too! And I thought I'd seen everything (in the way of crafts). I was wrong! This is something brand new & different!
