For Juicy Sauted Onions
When the onions have reached the state of doneness you want, add some water to the pan, then cook til the water is almost, but not entirely, absorbed. The onions draw in the water and become more tender and juicy.

Sound delicious. But how much water. just cover the bottom of the pan or what?
