I have fallen in love with curry! I have bought some red curry paste. Can anyone suggest any lamb curry recipes?

RE: Lamb Curry Recipe Request
Hi: My family are Indians. Don't bother with curry pastes. Learn to cook authentic Indian curries from good cookbooks available at most book stores and libraries. (05/06/2008)

RE: Lamb Curry Recipe Request
Go to Allrecipes.com, or search 'curry lamb' and see what sites come up. (05/06/2008)
Hi, go to www.desicookbook.com for how to cook lamb curry; However there are many types of curry dishes but they all basically start off the same way. I would agree with the previous poster to not use the curry paste, it's really not the same. You would be better off going to a Indo/Pakistani or mideastern grocery/meat market and getting a spice mix or masala. "Shan" brand masala is the most widely used. They will have one especially for making lamb curry which will also have the recipe for making it properly on the back. This way you will have both the spices and recipe to make your dish. Hope this was helpful and hope you get your lamb curry. (05/13/2008)
