If you vacuum your refrigerator coils twice a year you will keep the compressor running efficiently.

Most everyone knows we have to vacuum the coils underneath our refrigerators, to keep them in great running order. But did you know if you have indoor pets, you should vacuum your refrigerator coils more often than 1-2 times a year, as the pet fur accumulates underneath and around the coils?

I bought a brush at a hardware store several years ago that is designed expressly for cleaning the dust out of the back area of the refrigerator. It works wonderfully, and it does cut down on the cost of the electricity.
