Washing Delicate Crystal or China
When washing fine china and crystal, generally you should wash them by hand, do not put them in the dishwasher. Place a soft terry towel on the bottom of the sink. Wear rubber gloves to give you a better grip so your best tableware won't accidentally slip and break.

If you are washing delicate dishes in your sink, line the bottom of the link with a bath towel before filling it. This will protect your crystal and china from getting chipped on the hard sink bottom.

I never do my china and crystal in the dishwasher. This is a wonderful idea. So simple. Thanks. (05/29/2007)
