What is a Non-Aqueous Phase Liquid (NAPL)?

Contaminants that remain undiluted as the original bulk liquid in the subsurface, e.g. spilled oil. (See: fee product.)

Hello, I think that the immiscible fluids like in the case of sea water intrusion (saltwater with fresh water) are included in NAPL case. The viscosity factor plays a major rule in this case.
