Homemade Substitute for Gatorade

I was talking to a friend today and she said her hubby only drank water and Gatorade, but complained that Gatorade was too high to buy. I told her I'd see if anyone knew how to make a good substitute for it. Surely there's someone with a recipe. Thanks in advance.
