Removing permanent marker from paper

How can I see under permanent marker which is on photocopying paper.

I would like to thank the people that are trying to ansewer my question,
as for Cathy yeah right, maybe the permanent marker police will come and get me, you should really get a life,

You can't. That's the whole point. It's obviously been blacked out as it contains private information to stop identity theft or from someone accessing personal information that's none of their business. It makes me wonder why you want this information!

You can't. If it's been photocopied, that's that. However if the marker is on copier paper that has been written on and then gone over with a marker, you might be able to see some indention and read that. Once in a while, pencil might show through. But if it's been marked through and then photocopied and you're trying to read the photocopy, it won't happen.

Its obvious that you are not suppose to see under the marker, I'm sure it is a privacy issue, and quite possibly against the law.

You might hold it up to a lamp....there may be a possibility that you might be able to read or detect any hidden text (etc.)
