I have a chicken who is being pecked at. She has a mark on the back of her head that is beginning to scab; can I put Neosporin on it?

I'd use honey. It is anti-bacterial and non-toxic. We used it on some ducks that had been attacked by a dog and they all healed and survived.

When I was a kid my folks used tar for something like that. I think that stopped the pecking. Anyway whatever it did, it seemed to work.
