Crunchy Chicken Bake
- 2 cups croutons
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 cups diced cooked chicken
- 1 package frozen chunk broccoli
- 1 can chopped mushrooms
- chopped onion, to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Boil broccoli and onions until done and drain. Spread 1 cup croutons in lightly greased 7x11 inch baking dish. Combine soup and salad dressing and spread about half over the croutons. Top with chicken, broccoli and mushrooms. Spread with remaining soup mixture and sprinkle with remaining croutons. Cover loosely with foil and bake in 350 degree F oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil, add cheese and bake 15 minutes more.
Note: Can use mushroom stems and pieces. Can use turkey instead of chicken.
