Sprinkle dry gelatin over cottage cheese. Stir to dissolve. Add well-drained fruit and cool Whip. Spoon into a pretty bowl and refrigerate until time to be served.
My mom used to make this salad occasionally and now I do too. Is's soooo delicious!! Not too good for my diet though. To help I use the non-fat cottage cheese and lite Cool Whip; I don't think the sugar-free Jello would work so I haven't tried that.
