i normally draw something cute and simple like a daisy; smiley face etc. also lightly stamp a design and embrodier it or outline some charm, etc.

Most perforated paper can be embroidered using any patterns for small motifs, not more than 3" x 2" and can then be inserted in the frame-style cards that one buys in a craft store. Just be VERY careful: The first time I tried a pattern I tore the paper!
