I just answered this poll and then wondered if it meant just for myself or my whole family? We spend $70 a month out of pocket on our family. I don't suppose it matters tho!

My one prescription that I am down to is not covered by insurance anymore because they want all maintanence meds to be done through the mail. They send it 3 months at a time, and so you get a discount (pay copay for two months, get one free.) However, this is my son's anti-seizure meds, and a controlled substance, and not something I am willing to gamble being lost or stolen to sell! The pharmacist can tell you right away how much a drug costs without insurance, and sometimes the difference is rather small, depending on the pharmacy. I recently switched from Walmart to Walgreens (who have a drive thru and are open on sundays) and saved two dollars, alot of time, needless spending, and gas!
