Indeed this is a money saver :-)
Please note that the quality of Flowbee has deteriorated over the years so I suggest if you want to use a tool like a Flowbee at least purchase the quality Robocut instead. You can find Rococuts on sale and often for the same or even less than the cost of a Flowbee.
Although both of these products can indeed save a lot of money over time rather than paying a professional for cuts please realize that you get what you pay for. Also, they are for very basic shorter haircuts and although they have length choice accessories they do not give precision haircuts.
I have been using a Robocutter (like the Flowbee) for 25 years now and use it on myself and my husband for haircuts. My husband even used it himself now. It is a lifesaver and has saved us thousands for haircuts!
We found a man's hair kit on clearance that includes all of the attachments to do a really good looking haircut. My husband likes a businessman cut and because I can do this at home, we're saving £30 a month on his haircuts.
I've thought about a FlowBee for my hair but am afraid I'll get my hair caught and end up scalped. All I'm doing right now is bending at the waist, putting the dangling hair in a pony tail at the crown, and trying to cut evenly across. It looks ok, but only ok. Maybe I should look into a FlowBee. A woman's visit to the hair salon in our town can cost over £50 - yikes!
