I am 14 years old and very recently my dad built me and my friends our own "house type thing" in my backyard. It is basically one room that is 12' by 16' and it's all up to me and my friends to decorate it however we want to. I was thinking about making it like a trendy living room and hangout room.
We will get power in it and have TV and lights. Basically I want to go all out on this project and want to make it the best it could be. It is just so hard to get a color scheme and everything going. I was wondering if you could help me.
You lucky girl! I hope you make your dad glad he did it. (Hint) don't blow it. About the decorating...Ask each friend to bring something they likemaybe a poster or stuffed animal. Eventually the room will decorate itself and your friends will love the decor because they helped decorate it. Cheap too!
WELL IT REALLY SOUNDS LIKE LOTS OF FUN!!! TRY USING STICK ON VINAL FLOOR TILES AND DECORATE THE WALLS AS YOU WOULD WALL PAPER. THEY HAVE A HUGH ASST. TO PICK FROM!!! HAVE FUN, TRY MIRROR TILES ALSO ON A PART OF THE WALL, THEY WILL BRIGHTEN IT UP, AWESOME IF YOU EVER USE CANDLES, BUT PLEASE ALWAYS REMEMBER TO PUT THEM OUT WHEN YOU LEAVE, HANG A NOTE ON THE DOOR AS A REMINDER....HAVE FUN,,,DESTINY
