My elderly mother uses a Pedal Exerciser, as per the following URL: There is a very strong rubber smell coming from it, that she can't get rid off. I would appreciate any suggestions as to how to get rid of the smell. Thank you. Faye

i'm not sure of what you are describing as the URL didn't show up and there is no picture. I would think that you could use a product to paint it. there is one available, it's a tin of a very thick vinyl like product that you dip the handles of pliers and things in to make them slip resistant. it doesn't have an odor when it dries and being a slip resistant product, it should be safe to use on "pedals". i would be very careful what you try on the rubber so it's not slippery for your mom. i know i would be horrified to try to fix something for my mom and end up with her falling or getting injured. just be very careful whatever you try will be slip resistant. good luck!!
