I am looking for a home remedy for my dog's itchy, stinky ears. Any suggestions?

I don't have any dogs but when my cats ears smell it usually means they have a yeast infection in them and we have to go to the vets for the medicine. Fortunately the bottle is big and lasts through many infections so once you get it you are covered for a while. I do not know if dogs get the same thing but thought I would share. In cats they get very sensitive when they get the infection, dark brown gunk in their ears builds up that smells like stinky feet mixed with poop and it hurts them to put the meds in for the first day or so, then they realize it is helping and let me do it for the duration.
The only person you should be talking to is your Veterinarian before you become confused with all the "well meaning" advise from non-professional people.
You can take them to the vet and get special ear drops.
