Having Panda for almost 15 years. She was one of my greatest gifts of love. She was born on Valentines Day 1995. She loved riding in the car, Animal Planet and snuggling in the recliner. Her favorite treats were carrots and Cheerios.
Having lost Panda this Christmas season has made me quite sad living alone, but I'm looking to adopt after the New Year and love another fur baby for as long as I can.
Merry Christmas to all, Sandie.

I hope this helps you while you grieve. When I lose someone dear to me-human or non- human-and those times hit me when the grief just overwhelms me, I always think of how they felt when I loved them. I mean, with my daddy, I think about how he was comforted when I prayed with him, and how he must have felt to have me there to pray for him. The same with other people, and now that I am facing losing my very old, blind Spitz, I am grieving in advance. But I think how terrified he was the day I got him from the situation he was found in, and how he grew to trust me, how he learned my hand was always a comfort and not to be feared, and how it must have felt to him to know he never had to be afraid again!I always try to show all the love I can, and it is so good to realize the memory of the love I give to others can come back and comfort me!
Take a moment to really think about how Panda Bear felt to be loved by you,and how happy she was with you,and see if it doesn't make you feel better, too!
My cujo was like that...around for all of my grandson's life of 18 years. He was not even born when we got Cujo from the shelter in Salem OR, and was as much of a joy to me as Panda Bear was to you.
Isn't it a wonder how they capture our heart? Remember, like money and time and sleep, you can replentish but never replace. Your new baby will keep you from being lonely and that is the best gift you can give to PB's memory.
They will always be with us.

My two girls have the Christmas gift under the tree that panda sent them from the USA all the way to UK, and they said they will cherish that gift as it was posted before we lost little panda. She was cute on web cam.
Panda Bear is 13 years old and a Japanese Chin. I bred her parents. She likes to look cute and sleep.

Panda's favorite trick is looking cute! Loves car rides and wakes me in the morning by walking up my chest and sitting til I wake up. Thank goodness she only weighs 5lbs. She loves to go outside only to turn right around and come back in for a treat. We used to watch Animal Planet faithfully however her very limited eyesight now makes it impossible. She still gives "high fives", shakes with her paw. Her fake cough! is the best trick. She coughs til you pat her on the back.
Panda and I share the same home and I can't tell you in words the constant joy (her breed) she's been in my sometimes trying life.
