Cleaning Stone Coasters |

What do I use to clean my absorbent stone coasters? My coasters have off-white "frames" around the perimeter which have gotten stained from various beverages. I've tried Clorox and OxiClean but haven't had great success. Any suggestions?

Will the clorox affect the cork on the bottom?

if you still have to box that they came in the instructions for cleaning are there. Basically place the coasters in a glass baking dish w/out stacking them. cover with water, and add a 1/4 cup of regular clorox, wait 25 minutes or until the stains disapear, rise the stone coasters and use WHITE towel or WHITE paper towels and allow the excess water to pull out.

I wonder if soaking them with a denture tablet might work?? Has anyone tried it?
