Raisin Apple Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cheerios, crushed
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2/3 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Grease the bottom of 12 muffin cups (can use paper muffin cups). In a large bowl, mix the Cheerios, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda together. Stir in the raisins, applesauce, milk, vegetable oil, and egg, just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Divide the batter evenly into each muffin cup and bake for 18-22 minutes.
