When the kids were young, we used to make a game of cleaning the house. They would take turns picking the "ROOM" that was their cleaning project and the one who did the best job (not the fastest :) but the cleanest and neatest) would win extra time playing video games or extra time to stay up or what ever you want to do! It helped them work and enjoy it and it helped me A LOT!

Now THIS is an idea that I can put to good use. Our 3 grandkids pretty much live with us (their moms are divorced and work crazy hours) so I do a LOT of nagging and picking up myself in frustration. This is an idea that will be a big hit with them I suspect. Thanks for sharing this!
