Ginger for Motion Sickness

For motion sickness when traveling, I suggest taking a small amount of ginger, about size of a small pea. I do this when I go shopping after a meal. If we go out to eat, I take some before we go, because I can get motion sickness in the car going back home.

homemade ginger tea works well, and you can put in a thermos and take it with you.

I take powder ginger, not the root, good luck.

Do you chew the small piece of fresh ginger? or just swallow it like a pill? I have taken ginger pills with good results but fresh ginger would be a good alternative.

Works for dogs too. A ginger cookie is fine, and also softserve ice cream (mcdonalds) helps them.
