Carpet Anemone Stuck To the Side of the Tank

We have a Carpet Anemone and it has decided to fasten itself to the class of our salt water tank. We don't get to see the beauty of the carpet, only it's rear end. (Yes, it is very funny when we tell family and friends.) How can we get it to become unstuck? We have tried to cut the flow of water and move it early in the AM while it is still sleepy but it didn't work. We also tried to rub ice cubes on the outside of the tank to make it cold for him and it is still there.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jarjar from Quesnel, BC

We got the Anomane off the glass of the tank by leaving the air pump off all night and the next morning very early before we turned the lights on, we finally got him loose and moved it else where. I wouldn't advise moving them very often as this one is still off it's food. But is still looking healthy.
