Scalloped Pineapple

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 cups bread cubes
  • 1 large can unsweetened pineapple tidbits

Directions

Mix melted butter, sugar and eggs together. Then add milk, bread cubes and pineapple, juice and all. Mix all together; put in a baking dish. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

Tip: Scalloped Pineapple

Ingredients:

  • 1 large can pineapple chunks
  • 2-3 handfuls small marshmallows
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, small cubes
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 slices bread, cut in cubes
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Directions:

Stir bread crumbs into butter; set aside. Mix sugar and flour in saucepan. Add juice drained from pineapple. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened. In greased casserole place pineapple, marshmallows, cheese cubes and buttered bread cubes. Pour hot syrup over all and bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Good warm or cold.

Directions

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 3 cups day-old bread cubes
  • scant 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • pinch salt
Combine and bake in casserole dish for 45 minutes at 350 degrees F. Serves 4-6.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oleo (margarine)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 cup large bread cubes
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (juice and all)
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions

Mix in order given. Cream oleo and sugar. Add eggs, bread cubes, pineapple and milk. Bake in greased 9x12 inch baking dish for 1 hour at 325 degrees F.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 5 slices bread, cubed
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can pineapple chunks, tidbits or crushed (1lb)

Directions

Melt butter, add sugar, eggs, cubed bread and pineapple. Bake in a casserole for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

Note: This is very good with ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups white bread (8 slices), cubed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup melted margarine
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions

Mix everything together. Bake at 350 degrees F in glass, Pyrex or Corning Ware dish for 45-55 minutes. Good with ham or turkey!
