Removing Ink from Cotton Doona Cover

I have managed to get blue ink on a white, pure cotton Doona cover.

I have seen some posts suggesting Dawn, or some other commercial cleaners, however these are not available in Australia, so I'd be grateful for suggestions that one might find around the home.

Any help would be gratefully accepted.
Thanks in advance.

Use a white cloth and blot with rubbing alcohol. Keep using a clean part of the white cloth until the stain is gone. Work from the outside of the stain to the center to prevent spreading the stain.

Spray with hairspray and rinse under cold running water.
Continue spraying and rinsing until spot is gone before laundering.

I used to get ink on my white uniforms. We used the most inexpensive hair spray. Spray the area and wipe with damp sponge or rag. Good luck
