Make Your Own Produce "Keeper" Bags

Instead of buying high priced produce keeper bags to keep my lettuce fresh, I make my own. I cut out the hard center of the lettuce and discard outer leaves. I then put the lettuce, unwashed, into a cheaper resealable bag and then make tiny slits with a small sharp scissors or poke holes with a sharp large 3 pronged fork on both sides of the bag. My lettuce stays fresh and I save save save!
