Buy Versatile Furniture

When you buy your furniture, try to buy items that can be used in several rooms. Certain tables, chairs, lamps, etc. will never be wasted if you can move them around.

I totally agree! Not only should you buy furniture that could go from room to room but you should always buy furniture that can double as storage. End tables, coffee tables, sofa tables, etc, that have drawers or cupboards help organize and control clutter in your homes. This works especially well if you have kids and need to conceal toys or have a hobby with no hobby room.

For years I have been wanting a foot locker to use as storage and as a coffee table. I found one I liked at a store on sale and I love it. I plan on getting the storage cubes for the same purpose lil by lil.
