Does anyone know how to turn a Devils Food cake mix into sour cream chocolate cake? How much sour cream to add and how do you adjust the other ingredients in the instructions?
The raspberry jam filling would be optional but it sounds divine to me right now!
My Mom gave me this recipe:
1 box devil's food cake mix
1/2 C packed brown sugar
1/2 C oil
1/2 C water
1 8oz. carton sour cream
Mix 3 min, bake at 350 in bundt pan for 55+ minutes. You can use cream cheese icing or chocolate icing; whatever you prefer. Great dense cake. Hope this helps.
