Preheat grill. Combine ground beef, salt and pepper in bowl. Roll into 8 patties between waxed paper. Place cheese and mushrooms in center of 4 patties. Press around edges to seal. Wrap each patty with bacon and secure with a toothpick. Grill over hot coals for 15 minutes or to desired degree of doneness. Serve on buns
