For an extremely easy and fast apple crisp type desert I pour a couple cans apple pie filling in a 9x13 baking dish and sprinkle one boxed yellow or white cake mix over fruit. Then melt one stick butter or margarine and drizzle over dry mix. Bake in a 400 oven for like 30-45 min. Or until top is golden brown and slightly crunchy...yum. I also do this with other fruit. And like to mix fruits also like 1 can cherry pie filling with 1 can crushed pineapple or 1 bag frozen patches 1 bag frozen blueberrys.

Mix these 3 ingredients with pastry cutter and sprinkle over apples.
Cover with clear plastic wrap.
Put in microwave on hi for about 8-10 ten minutes. Check to see if apples are tender. May require another minute or two.
This is delicious and very cheap to make. Everyone who has tasted this has raved over it.
